HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN UPDATE:
For those who aren't familiar, it is pretty much what it sounds like, a plan that discusses mitigation techniques and plans for potential hazards within our community. As one might imagine, most of what is discussed is in regards to the weather and how to care for our roads, etc. We have obtained grant monies in past years with this planning process as a key component in the mitigation of major issues that were ongoing in the town. The repair of Washburn Rd is one great example of this.
We would love to hear from anyone that has concerns of this nature that we could potentially address over the next few years. The next scheduled meeting is Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 10:00 am.  If you can't attend, please feel free to email us at alexandrianh@metrocast.net for any thoughts or concerns you may have.
