The purpose of the Waste Management Committee is to advise the Selectmen regarding ways to help the Town save money while preserving and protecting our natural resources and environment through reusing and recycling our waste materials.

- HB617 Recycling & Solid Waste Study Committee Report
Last August Governor Sununu created a special committee to investigate the handling of waste materials in the state of New Hampshire. The committee was tasked with, among other things, providing towns with some guidelines to help them deal with the shrinking recyclables markets.
