The Town of Alexandria is accepting applications for the position of Highway Department Laborer.  This position performs work involving operating plow trucks, dump trucks, loaders, backhoes, and other moderately complex equipment for the construction, repairing, cleaning and maintenance of Town roads.  Also responsible for manual labor tasks incidental to the operation of assigned equipment, such as loading and unloading materials.  This position involves plowing snow in the winter and overtime is a requirement.  Valid New Hampshire Class (B) Commercial Driver’s License required or ability to obtain class B CDL within 6 months of date of hire.  This is a full-time, year round position.  The Town of Alexandria offers health insurance, dental insurance and more.   Must pass all background checks including criminal and motor vehicle and drug and alcohol testing.  CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION

The Town of Alexandria is looking for volunteers to serve on the Budget Committee.  The open position on the Budget Committee would run until March 2026.  Interested candidates should send a letter of interest to info@alexandrianh.com or to the Office of Selectmen, 47 Washburn Road, Alexandria, NH 03222.
